Gunjan Prabhakaran

Gunjan is an Indirect tax professional with 17 years of experience in indirect taxation, specializing in GST, erstwhile indirect tax laws, Customs, SEZ, STPI, and foreign trade policy-related matters. She is a certified GST Practitioner by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Technology Development Centre. She is also Certified in "Women, Boards & ESG" by the WILL Board (2023).

She was the former Head of National Indirect Tax Practice for BDO India, managing over 300 professionals across 13 locations and appointed as an Executive Board Member at BDO India in 2023 before she went onto a full-time career in tax litigation.

She has authored and published more than 50 articles on GST and Customs law.

She was Recognized as "Highly Regarded" and featured in "Women in Tax" rankings by World Tax 2024, International Tax Review.
