He joined Deloitte Singapore in 2020 and is currently leading transfer pricing consulting services for the Southeast Asian (SEA) region, primarily targeting Japanese companies.
From 2005 to 2012, he worked in the Tokyo office and US offices (Washington National Tax and New York) of another major tax accounting firm, providing transfer pricing services. From 2012 to 2019, he served as a transfer pricing partner and Japan Desk Leader at the Singapore office of another major tax accounting firm.
In the offices in Japan, the US, and Singapore, he has handled numerous cases for Japanese and foreign companies in a variety of industries, including international tax strategy advisory services focusing on transfer pricing policies such as transfer pricing risk analysis, transfer pricing planning, and support for APA (advance pricing agreements) and mutual agreement procedures with tax authorities in various countries, as well as transfer pricing investigation responses and transfer pricing litigation support.
