Viseu Advogados tax team advises on all tax matter and is particularly focused in M&A transactions, litigation, due diligences, and restructuring, as well as general corporate tax consulting. The firm works with a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, perfumes and cosmetics, education, industry, civil construction, technology, automotive, wholesale, finance services and health care.

During the research period, the firm worked with Whirpool Corporation. It worked on behalf of the clients before the Court of Justice, being responsible for unprecedented cases within the tax area, especially regarding the VAT Tax Substitution (ICMS-ST).

Partner Fábio Nieves departed to Fábio Nieves Advocacia Tributária. However the firm welcomed two new partners: Priscila Farisco from Mattos Engelberg Advogados and Guilherme Manier Monteiro from Monteiro, Rusu.
