VBD Advogados’ tax division is responsible for advising clients on different tax matters, such as M&A operations, corporate reorganization, tax planning and legal opinions.
During the research period the firm advised
BMB Material de Construção. VBD was then hired to assist both in evaluation and suggestion of more efficient real estate legal structures from the tax perspective, so that the company would not be subject to the high rates of real estate funds at the initial moment of stores expansion, as well as would not face possible tax inefficiency in the operation in case of financing the construction of stores under expansion for later leasing ("sale/leaseback" model).
