During the research period, the firm
in consortium with Banco Genial, won a competitive bidding procedure carried out by BNDES to provide legal assistance within the scope of the privatization of Eletrobrás. The work included the elaboration of a legal mapping report, modelling report and a modelling proposal for deliberation of Eletrobrás. The team worked on the tax aspects of the deal structure and the post steps involved such as the tax aspects of the “direito de recesso“and capital gains of the investors that withdraws from the shareholders position.
