During the research period, the team acted as counsel to Enel Group and the Target Company in connection with the acquisition of Celg-D by Equatorial Energia. The team assisted in all steps of the transaction including the structuring of the deal, the draft and negotiation of the Share Purchase Agreement and its ancillary documents, the due diligence and the risk assessment of all issues identified. The acquisition is pending approval from Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL).
