During the research period, the team advised Polenghi (Savencia Group). The project was constructed to obtain a special tax regime with the State of Minas Gerais for the actual plant of the company in Minas Gerais, but also for the new plant in Uberlândia which had just been acquired. The firm negotiated with the company’s other tax treatments that could be authorized by the State of Minas Gerais, through a special tax regime that brought direct consequences to the optimization of the tax burden, in addition to simplifying operational procedures.
