Over the past year the team filed a lawsuit on behalf of Furnas – Centrais Eletricas to cancel the tax assessment issued to charge Corporate Income Tax (“IRPJ”) and Social Contribution on Net profits (“CSLL”), plus fines related to the exclusion, from the basis of calculation of such taxes, of the revenue arose from the reversal of an actuarial liability maintained with the Fundação Real Grandeza. The office obtained a favorable judgement for the client.
