Ferrere’s tax practice in Bolivia is led by senior associate Mauricio Viscarra. The practice is one of the largest firms in Bolivia with offices in Santa Cruz, La Paz, and Cochabamba. Ferrere advises major Bolivian and international clients on a wide range of tax matters, from general tax consulting, international trade and customs and the tax aspects of corporate and financial transactions, definition of tax structures, to tax litigation at all levels of the courts. 

During the research period, the firm advised Cargill in various cases. In one instance, the company failed to appropriate a tax credit on time and wanted to recover it for future deductions. The department defined the strategy that maximizes the chances of a successful recovery and prepared the documents to support the recovery request.
