During the research period, the firm assisted Sicredi and Cooperatives in several matters regarding tax issues of their operation. Mainly tax regarding Social Security contributions on gross income (PIS and COFINS), Withholding tax on remittance abroad (IRRF in Portuguese), Tax on financial operations (IOF in Portuguese), Social Security contribution on net income (CSLL), Corporate tax (IRPJ), etc. In addition,the team advised in a matter regarding international taxation.
