Based in Bogota Colombia FTC was founded in 2021. The practice is led by Hector Falla, and consists of four practitioners and one economists. The tax group specializes in areas such as digital tax, transactional tax, tax planning, and all areas of local and international tax. FTC is best known for advising on national and local tax and have an expertise in the digital economy, consumer industries and wealth sectors of Colombia.

In the recent research period, FTC assisted Empata Latam with their soft landing, and reorganizaition of their shareholder structure. The complexities of this matter involved sophisticated tax work to receive the investment and not significantly impact shareholders along with complying with Colombian regulations. Empata is set to bring over 100 jobs to Colombia.
