Estudio Olaechea

The tax practice of Estudio Olaechea is led by partner Jorge Dávila. The team advises both local and international clients on Peruvian and cross-border tax matters. The most common areas the department advices on include, tax planning, double taxation agreements, cross-border partnership agreements, as well as tax and customs disputes. 

During the research period, Estudio Olaechea was active in corporate tax matters in the region. The firm provided tax planning services to mining company Noatum. The mining company seeks to undertake an new mining project, the firm assisted with the tax structuring as well as an alliance with a third party. 

In September 2022, the firm promoted senior associate Michael Morales to Partner.
