Founded in 2002, the tax team at Dias Carneiro specializes in indirect tax, transactional tax, and most notably, customs. Its clients vary in sector, but include pulp, forestation, and reforestation, pharmaceutical, technology, machinery, sugar and biofuels, insurance, telecommunications, and real estate. The tax department is led by Antonio Amendola.

During the research period the firm aided and represented Rio Bravo against a series of Notice of Infraction. Other details of cases and clients are confidential.

Renan Castro left the firm in November of 2022.
