Cuatrecasas is an international law firm with more than 1,700 professionals across 27 offices located in 13 countries. It is a full-service law firm with specialisation in 28 areas of practice. The tax department has 470 professionals that cover several areas in tax law, such as financial and corporate, indirect tax, international tax, M&A, litigation, private client and wealth management, as well as transfer pricing and tax governance.

The firm recently acted as counsel to Brookfield in the structuring and acquisition process of a majority stake in Solarity. This deal marked the entrance of the client into the renewable energy sector in Chile, a currently expanding market.
