Caputo Bastos e Serra has experience in tax law matters involving advisory, government relations, tax planning and litigation in administrative and judicial proceedings. It is recognized in practice before high courts, internal and external control public bodies, Tax Authorities Courts, and the Judiciary Branch. The team consists of four partners and two non-partners.

During the research period, the firm represented Paraibuna Papeis who was facing 150 lawsuits regarding tax charges. After years discussing the liability to pay the taxes, the company reached an agreement with the tax authorities. The agreement was signed on January 2022 and reduced the debt on approximately 74 million.
