CBLM Advogados

Founded in 2020, CBLM Advogados is a law firm specialised in tax law. It focuses on tax services including assistance in tax inspection procedures, administrative and judicial litigation, tax consulting, special regimes and rulings, and wealth planning.

During the research period, the firm advised Siemens-Gamesa on relevant transactions and tax assessments. This included local operations as well as international. Many deals with Siemens-Gamesa revolve around key tax controversies for the wind power industry in Brazil which have the potential to create new guidelines for the entire sector.

Partner Marcelo Rocha departed March 2022. However, the firm welcomed a new partner, Luiz Carlos Junqueira Franco Filho from Franco Yoshiyasu Maia Simões & D`Alessio Advogados (FYMSA).
