During the research period, the firm handled various cases related to ICMS including defending a client’s interest in a lawsuit seeking to avoid the improper collection of ICMS levied on cancelled sales. Additionally, the team defended Heineken in a tax infraction notice issued by the State Tax Authority of Bahia demanding the client pay state tax on goods and services.
