Malaysia firm Shearn Delamore & Co, Singapore-based Drew & Napier and Makarim & Taira S from Indonesia have announced they are to join together in a new regional legal network named Drew Network Asia (DNA).
The member firms remain independent but the network operates as a ‘firm of firms’ to provide a seamless service in multiple jurisdictions.
Shearn Delamore & Co is one of the oldest and largest full-service firms operating in Malaysia, having been established in 1905.
Similarly, Drew & Napier has a storied history having been established in the city in 1889 and can boast more than 250 fee earners.
Although a more recent addition to the legal scene – being established by two Harvard graduates in 1980 – Makarim & Taira S has more than 60 fee earners offering a wide range of legal services.
