John Lauwrenz

John has almost 25 years of experience as a tax professional, and he has served clients across major local and multinational companies, particularly in the Energy Resources & Industrial and Consumer Industries.

As Deloitte Indonesia’s M&A Tax Leader for more than 10 years, John has led advisory work across restructuring, M&A transactions, and tax planning projects, serving global firms, state-owned enterprises, and a wide range of private equity and strategic investors.

Additionally, he has extensive experience handling tax audits and litigation, including dispute resolution before the Indonesian Tax Office and the Tax Court.
