Filipa Correia

International Tax Attorney. Portuguese lawyer admitted to both, the Portuguese and Italian Bar Associations. Filipa is the leader of Valente Associati GEB Partners Tax Policy Unit.

Filipa Correia mainly works in EU and International Tax Law, Tax Policy, International Commerce and Contracts. She also has specific expertise on U.A.E. (Dubai) Law. She coordinates the Portuguese Speaking Countries’ Desk of the Firm (i.e., Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, among others) and the international operations with Portuguese speaking Countries.

She formerly was Vice-President of the U.I.A. (Union Internationale des Avocats) International Negotiation for Lawyers Commission – 2012 - 2014 (www.uianet.org).

She is a regular contributor to specialized publications in the tax field as well as a frequent speaker in international conferences and seminars.
