Koen Dewilde

Koen started his professional career in 1997 as an indirect tax consultant at Arthur Andersen, and joined Deloitte in 2002 due to a merger. He moved to Central Europe in 2004, where he helped developing the local Deloitte tax practices after EU accession. Koen has experience with large inbound investment projects in Central Europe and is culturally aware of the region. In 2016 Koen co-founded Vatsquare, a VAT boutique firm established in Belgium. Vatsquare serves a wide variety of customers, from fortune 500 listed companies, government bodies, as well as SME’s. Based on an international network of independent VAT advisors, Vatsquare serves VAT consulting and compliance services on a pan-European level. With a career spanning over three decades, Koen has focused on VAT and consistently demonstrated client commitment.
