Ruben started his professional career in 1998 as a tax lawyer at Arthur Andersen, from where he moved to Deloitte in 2002. As Manager of International & Corporate Taxation, Ruben worked for medium-sized and large national and multinational enterprises (including listed companies) in a variety of industries, ranging from manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, ICT, transport and logistics to fashion and food.
His work has brought him into close contact with the various fields of tax law, in both a national and international context. He was one of the founding partners of Taxperience Tax Lawyers mid-2005, with offices in The Netherlands. Practice areas His expertise covers advising Dutch and foreign based multinationals on Dutch domestic and international (corporate) tax issues. Areas of expertise include group tax strategy and tax technology, restructuring and reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions and divestures, management of transfer pricing projects, as well as optimizing and implementing tax efficient group structures.
In 2017 Ruben co-founded KEEYNS a Tax Technology SAAS company which is now actively entering the corporate en medium seized international market assisting companies and corporates working in multiple countries, as a go to tax portal to get grip on tax processes, while providing instant and up to date insight via dashboards to it’s internal stakeholders and external advisors.
