Ruth Steedman is a Special Advisor at FTI Consulting, based in London. Ruth is a member of the Tax Services practice within the Corporate Finance segment.
Ruth leads the Transfer Pricing Litigation and Arbitration team. She has more than 30 years of international tax and transfer pricing experience. Ruth has been appointed as a transfer pricing expert witness in both corporate litigation and tax authority cases.
Ruth has also provided transfer pricing advisory services to regulators and corporates alike. Using a rigorous examination of the facts and robust economic analysis, she delivers a highly sought after independent and technical position. Ruth is recognised as one of International Tax Review’s highly regarded Women in Tax.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ruth was a Transfer Pricing Director at Deloitte and a Transfer Pricing Consultant Advisor at BDO Stoy Hayward. Prior to that, she was a National Partner at Andersen.
Ruth holds a First Class B.Sc. Engineering in Metallurgy and Materials Science with Honours from Imperial College London. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
