The core tax team of four dedicated practitioners include tax partners Caleb Langat and Milly Jalega.  

In February 2023, the tax team successfully defended ABSA Bank Kenya PLC in a $25m VAT dispute with the KRA at the Tax Appeals Tribunal and subsequently at the High Court. The precedential court ruling is impactful for the Kenyan banking industry.
