SIGNUM Law Firm is an independent Kazakhstan based law firm and focuses on providing transactional tax advice, general tax advice including customs and tax controversy services. The legal tax team consists of 5 partners and 4 associates and complimented by accounting and financial management experts. SIGNUM has strong relationships across macroeconomic regions including Russia and the CIS, China and Asia-Pacific, the UK and the EU.

Managing partner Sofiya Zhylkaidarova led the team and recently provided tax advice to the Kazakhstan Branch of a global public energy company in relation to bids. The deal involves a listed public company and the jurisdictions directly involved in the team’s scope of legal advice include Australia, China, Russia and Singapore.
