The team of five partners and more than 15 associate and defends clients mostly in the areas of Oil, Gas & Offshore and Metals, Engineering, Infrastructure & Logistic Systems; Finance; Agribusiness, Education, Insurance/Private Health Plans; Pension Funds and Retail & Commerce.
Vieira Rezende’s tax team assisted Samarco in analyzing and suggesting alternatives to settle the outstanding debts, as well as related tax contingencies and risks, mainly from an international perspective. It also prepared legal opinions and participated in meetings with the company’s financing and legal counsel and with Samarco’ s shareholders and respective internal and external counsels.
The team promoted Bruna Luppi to partner from senior associate January of 2022.
