Walkers, the international legal and professional services firm, continues to lead its market, according to the findings of the prestigious 2024 Chambers Global Guide to the world's leading lawyers and law firms.

The number of Walkers lawyers receiving Eminent Practitioner or Band 1 rankings has doubled from eight to 16. Sixteen partners in total receive a higher ranking than last year and seven are newly ranked in 2024.

Overall, 74 Walkers partners and 26 practice groups are ranked this year, spanning our six jurisdictions and 10 offices across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. This is significantly higher than any other firm in our market.

Ingrid Pierce, global managing partner of Walkers, said: "We've not just maintained our own high standards. We have raised the bar further in the eyes of Chambers, our clients and peers. It’s the strength in depth and collaboration across our teams worldwide that enable us to provide a best in class service. I'm grateful to our clients for this positive recognition of our commitment to them."

Nine practice groups receive the top Band 1 ranking and three others are ranked higher than last year. Walkers is described by clients in the Guide as being "my first call for any complex matter", "we love the fact that Walkers can cover all relevant jurisdictions to such a high level" and having "a strong and sophisticated team of lawyers....they are always responsive, and their quality of service is excellent."

Ingrid Pierce adds: "It's particularly pleasing that we've received new or higher rankings in practice group areas such as Financial Services: Regulatory, Insurance, Dispute Resolution and Asset Finance. These are all areas where we have invested in developing talent and bringing in lateral hires who add to the quality of our team.

"We will stay focused on providing clients with the clear commercial advice and responsive service they value in the jurisdiction and time zone they need us."
