Founder of Vuille Lafourcade, he has over 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge in tax optimization opportunities, tax audits, and financial statement audits.

He graduated as a Certified Public Accountant from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay in 2007 and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Tax Specialization and a Master’s in Tax Law and Technique from the Universidad de Montevideo (thesis pending).

Throughout the years, he has gained extensive experience in advising on project establishment in Uruguay, guiding clients alongside his team in accounting, tax, and notarial matters.
He possesses a deep understanding of the national banking environment, demonstrated by the strong alliances and relationships he has built with the country’s leading financial institutions (an invaluable asset when advising his clients)

Currently, he is a Director and Partner at Vuille Lafourcade, where he has earned recognition for his technical expertise, positioning the firm among the most prestigious in the country

• Advised Uruguayan company on the tax implications of acquiring a television channel. The work included due diligence, tax structuring, and compliance review, ensuring and efficient and risk-mitigated acquisition with a successful outcome.
• Advised the local company of a Chile Group in the company structure to purchase stocks of a company in Chile.
• Provided tax advisory to an Uruguayan company with activities in Latin America on the application of the Double Taxation Agreement between Uruguay and Argentina, ensuring the company could avoid double taxation. He conducted an analysis considering the company’s business purpose in Uruguay to asses whether  it should be treated as a tax- transparent entity under applicable regulations.
