Yulchon

Yulchon is a full-service law firm headquartered in South Korea and a member firm of Taxand. Its tax team comprises approximately 100 professionals, offering comprehensive legal advice across a wide range of tax matters, including tax planning, consulting, audit defence, appeals, trade and customs, and transfer pricing. Partner Yun Heui Cho leads the firm’s tax disputes practice, while Partner Yong Whan Choi plays a key role in heading the international tax and transfer pricing service lines. 

During the research period, the firm provided tax advisory support to IMM Private Equity in connection with its acquisition of Ecorbit Co, a cross-border transaction valued at approximately USD 1.7 billion. The firm’s involvement helped reduce tax risks and contributed to the successful closing of the deal. 

Se Bin Lee joined the team as a partner in March 2025, followed by the addition of two senior advisors, Song Hak Lim and Kyeong Bong Ahn, and senior tax attorney Pung Yeon Cho throughout 2025.
