• Provided legal and tax advisory services for the cross-border corporate restructuring of an energy efficiency solutions group, analyzing the implications of transferring assets and interests from Singapore to France in accordance with Section 10L of the Income Tax Act in Singapore.
• Provided a comprehensive analysis of the Foreign-Sourced Income Exemption Scheme and remittance rule in Singapore to a group holding company, optimizing the Group’s tax structure and ensuring that its international operations align with its global investment strategy, particularly with regard to its presence in many jurisdictions such as Malta, Cyprus, France, and Luxembourg.
• Conducted a detailed analysis of Singapore's transfer pricing regulations and provided strategic guidance to a healthcare group and its subsidiaries on compliance criteria, reporting obligations, and various transfer pricing methods, enabling them to anticipate and comply with transfer pricing requirements for current and future transactions.
