Andersen Adótanácsadó Zrt. is a tax advisory firm based in Budapest, established in 2009 (formerly Orientax). The firm operates under the Andersen in Hungary brand in close cooperation with Szabó Kelemen & Partners Andersen Attorneys. The advisory team includes around 40 tax professionals, and the total headcount, including support functions, exceeds 50. Most members of our management team have prior experience at Big Four advisory firms and have been working as tax advisors for 10–20 years.

In terms of client numbers, we serve around 500 clients, including Hungarian affiliates of well-known international groups as well as large and medium-sized Hungarian enterprises. Virtually all industries are represented in our client portfolio; in particular, we would highlight the energy, pharmaceutical, financial and banking, telecom, IT, and media and entertainment sectors.

Our service offering covers all the traditional areas of tax advisory. Among these, we have outstanding expertise and a strong track record in the following categories: value-added tax (VAT) services, M&A and transaction tax planning, tax controversy, tax due diligence, film production tax rebates, and transfer pricing services.
