Andersen was founded when the firm Nobre Guedes Mota Soares & Associados joined the Andersen global association. It routinely works with member firms in Spain, France, Switzerland, and Brazil on cross-border mandates. Gonçalo Cid is head of tax at the firm. Litigators Tiago Cid and Carla Malhão work with tax incentive partner Ana Reis.

The firm acted for a multinational in acquisition structuring and transaction-related documentation. It also supported a client in several litigations with the Tax Authority pertaining to corporate income tax.
