Gide Loyrette Nouel has a small tax team in its City office, but does do its fair share of interesting work, making use of its well-connected European network. The practice is led by partner Anthony Davis, a respected and experienced practitioner.
Davis advised SNCF on the restructuring of the joint venture that runs the train service from London to Paris and Brussels.
Davis and David Klass has advised Europcar on a series of financing matters since 2010. The team is also active at the moment in acting for French banks, CA-CIB and Natixis, in structuring for securitisations worth €600 million.
