The group focuses on cross-border corporate tax issues for multinational clients. Buzanichadvises a number ofUS corporations.
This year the group represented troubled Österreichische Volksbanken on the disposal of its real estate subsidiaries for €272 million. The practice also represented a consortium of large banks in the debt restructuring of Herold Business Data. Buzanich is also advising a large listed company in Austria on the establishment of a joint venture which has raised issues regarding the structuring of payment flows.
