The size of its department and the volume and range of its work, mean that Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal is "clearly a market leader", says a competitor. The practice has four partners and more than 35 lawyers with a range of expertise and experience to advise domestic and international clients on the most sophisticated matters and the most complex and sensitive litigation. Horacio García Prieto, who is particularly active in litigation, is one of three department heads. Gabriel Gotlib advises on planning and complex tax litigation. The other department leader, Walter Keiniger, handles transactional tax matters, tax planning, corporate reorganisations and litigation.
