Atlas Tax Lawyers, a new entry this year, was formed by a group of ex-KPMG Meijburg professionals in 2010. Jan Willem Lubbers has also joined this year from the same firm, where he was an international tax partner.
The practice provides a broad range of tax services for clients with an international focus. It was involved in setting up a fund structure for investment in Eastern European real estate and also advised on permanent establishment issues for an US listed multinational company. Han Oortwijn, Roelof Gerritsen and Ivo Kuipers advised another on a new group holding, financing and royalty structure.
