Hengeler Mueller's tax practice comprises five partners, one counsel, one senior associate and a number of junior associates. The practice advises on most areas of corporate tax including optimising tax structures for acquisitions and restructurings as well as income tax issues in connection with structured finance products. The tax team advised last year on some of the most high-profile transactions in Europe. Martin Klein advised Intel on the acquisition of the wireless solutions business of Infineon Technologies. Klein and Ernst-Thomas Kraft also advised Porsche on its subscriptions rights capital increase.
