Bödecker, Ernst & Partner is a firm to watch over the next few years. The team was founded by Carsten Bödecker and Carsten Ernst, who both previously worked at Luther-Taxand. Fourteen tax professionals from the same firm joined in July 2011. The team previously worked together as the financial services tax & regulatory team of Deloitte in Düsseldorf and have now set up as an investment management boutique providing tax advice to banks, insurance companies and investment management companies. Clients include AXA, Gothaer Asset Management, Oppenheim Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, Pramerica Real Estate Investors, R&V Insurance Group and Tishman Speyer.
