Founding partner Félix Abadi Pilos of Rueda Abadi & Pereira has broad experience of advising on foreign investments. He is the head professor of tax at ORT University of Uruguay. In 2010 the firm was hired by the Secretaria del MERCOSUR , the counsel that enacted the economic and political agreement among Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay in 1991, to conduct and coordinate research on direct and indirect taxes. Pilos, along with accountant Mercedes Gonzalez and associate Francisco Cobas submitted the final report in November 2010.
