Ramunas Audzevicius leads the dispute resolution boutique Motieka & Audzevicius. The firm is active in Lithuania and has grown its practice to four partners and 10 other fee earners since last year. The firm has some multinationals among its clients and a high number of financial sector companies such as Hermis Capital, SNORAS and Orion Securities. Their work this year included appealing VAT deductions disallowed on behalf of a Lithuanian energy company. They successfully cited ECJ case law to demonstrate that the relevant goods and services were not comparable to those cited by the tax authorities and obtained the deductions for their client. The firm also has capability across indirect tax, corporate tax and transactional tax.
