Baker Tilly Pitcher Partners' international tax practice is led by Theo Sakell and Denise Honey in Melbourne. Formed as a breakaway of KPMG, the firm focuses on wealthy family groups, large private companies, and small to medium sized firms.
Sakell and Honey offered tax advice to several privately held groups relating to their planned expansion into large markets including the US, the UK, and Hong Kong.
The tax practice has been buoyed by the appointment of Alexis Kokkinos from Deloitte in October 2010. Kokkinos will use his experience in the funds management industry and knowledge in domestic corporate tax matters to seek to enhance the firm's financial services and corporate capability.
