Juan Manuel Soria Acuña has extensive experience in tax planning and restructuring and is a professor at the Universidad de Palermo and Universidad Austral. In November 2010, Rosso and associate Leonardo Orlanski, assisted British Petroleum (BP) in raising$7.1 billion from the sale of, Argentine oil and natural gas company, Pan American Energy to Argentina's Bridas Corporation, an oil company owned by Chinese crude producer CNOOC Ltd. and Argentina's Bulgheroni family. The deal was part of the BP's efforts to meet the costs of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. However, this transaction was abandoned by BP in November 2011.
