Winston & Strawn's tax practice is led by Jean Pierre Collet, who specialises in group restructuring. The team comprises 11 fee earners and four partners Florence Bilger and Franck Lagorce both specialise in real estate work, while David Colin focuses on indirect tax. All of the partners formerlyworked together at Landwell & Associés and Fidal.
Transactional work makes up roughly half of all their work with general advisory and litigation making up the rest. This year the group advised a leading French healthcare company on the sale of part of its business to a competitor.
The practice has a number of clients in the real estate, healthcare and financial services sectors.
