Svalner Skatt & Transaktion's tax department is headed by Mattias Fri and has grown this year with the addition of well regarded corporate and M&A tax adviser Harald Steinbrecehr from Ashurst as a director. The firm has also added three associates, two o in indirect tax and one in corporate tax. This brings the the department's strength to eight partners and 22 fee earners. The firm is capable in a full range of corporate tax issues but has an especially good reputation in indirect tax and Jan Klerup receives his contemporaries' plaudits for his ability in VAT matters.
