Muñoz Manzo y Ocampo's team of tax professionals have solid experience in consulting and advised in important transactions with many prominent Mexican corporations and foreign investors. Jaime Espinosa de los Monteros joined the practice in October 2010 from rival Basham Ringe y Correa, where he was the head of the firm's tax department, bringing with him a team of three associates. In December 2010, Gerardo Napolitano, also joined the practice as a partner from Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cía where he too was a partner. Napolitano and associate José Molina advised on the tax aspects of the integration of Cadbury and Kraft Foods in Mexico. On October 1 2010 the firm opened a new office in Monterrey office and began its tax and administrative litigation practice.
