Avanzia Taxand is a member of the global network of tax firms taxand. The tax department is led by Walter Cutajar and consists of four partners and six fee earners. The firm has an impressive array of clients including MUR Shipping, the energy and metal trader Trafigura, the French investment bank Natixis, the American tissue company Kimberly-Clark, Eastman Chemical, Nexen, Sara Lee and Swiss Re. The firm were involved in the acquisition of various real estate assets, mainly in France, Switzerland and the UK. During the last 12 months the firm were involved in transactions worth in excess of €1 billion ($1.4 billion).
