Studio Tributario Associato Facchini Rossi Scarioni's tax practice comprises eight feeearners, including three partners. Partner Luca Rossi is singled out by his peers as a leading figure in the field of corporate tax.
This year the group advised BC Partners on the acquisition of 78.7% of the shares of Gruppo Coin, a distributor and manufacturer of luxury brands. This involved complex structuring during the acquisition as the stake was purchased by a company controlled by the funds and advised by BC Partners, and also post-acquisition work regarding the tender offer for the company and also the execution of a new €649 million facility agreement with a group of banks.
Other work this year includes advising Banca Popolare di Milano on a joint venture to set up a major Italian investment management company with more than 3,800 branches. The practice is particularly strong in the financing, services and manufacturing industries.
