Flick Gocke Schaumburg is regarded as very much an academic firm, and its reputation is assured. The highly respected Thomas Roedder leads the team of 78 partners and 160 associates, which was swelled by the hire of VAT specialist Ulrich Gruenwald from BDO in November 2011.

Florian Kutt advised Windland in July 2011 on a €1.2 billion ($1.5 billion) joint venture with Blackstone for a North Sea wind park.
