Authorships: He has written articles that have been published by specialized tax magazines and has been co-author to a number of books sponsored by the Colombian Institute of Tax Law, the Colombian Association of Petroleum and Mining Lawyers and the IFA Colombian Branch, amongst others including tax aspects of the mining, oil & gas industry, tax treatment of foreign investment, electronic commerce and international taxation and recently on Double Tax Treaties and Foreign Trade Agreements. Experience: speaker at CITE and ATLAS on Tax Planning and tax Litigation in LA.
Memberships: Colombian Association of Petroleum and Mining Lawyers, Colombian Institute of Tax Law (Former Chairman), LA Institute of Tax Law and International Fiscal Association (former Chairman of the Colombian Branch).

Catalina Hoyos Jimenez, born, Bogota, 1975; admitted Bogota, 1998.
Education: Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Law degree, 1998); Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Specialization in Tax Law, 2000); Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Specialization in International Tax Law 2006); Universidad Austral de Buenos Aires (International Tax Law, 2002); Universidad de Salamanca (PhD Program, Doctoral Thesis in course).
Authorships: She has written articles that have been published by specialized tax magazines and has been co-author to a number of books on tax law, including Special taxes, Transfer Pricing in Colombia, The effects of the VAT in the Colombian Economy, Taxation of Intangibles in Colombia, The characterization of the operations regarding intangibles in the Double Tax Conventions; International non-tax Treaties and taxation. Recently, she was co-coordinator and co-author for a publication of more than 90 European and Latin American tax specialists on Perspectives of Taxation for the XXI Century (sponsored by Marcial Pons Buenos Aires- Madrid- Barcelona). She is correspondent in Colombia and one of the authors of the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD). Experience: Teacher of tax law in international and local universities for 10 years, Conference presenter at international and local tax law forums.
Memberships: Executive Council of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law, Member of the Latin American Institute of Tax Law and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
