Ernst & Young is a regional force in Africa, with 28 offices including six in South Africa. The practice is led by James Deiotte, who also leads the practices for Angola, Cape Verde and Kenya too.
The firm has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months. In particular, the transfer pricing team has grown by almost 50%, including the hire of two new senior managers.
In other areas, a notable recruitment move was the hire of partner Des Kruger from Webber Wentzel, who joined in April 2012.
